DAY 01: IQUITOS – CUMACEBA AMAZON LODGE – FUNDO PEDRITO – JUNGLE WALK

The tour begins with a transfer from the airport or hotel to tour Iquitos' historic center, including the Iron House (Casa de Hierro) and the Palace Hotel. Next, we navigate the Itaya and Amazon rivers, viewing the majestic Nanay Bridge. We visit Fundo Pedrito to see *paiche* fish, caimans, and the *Victoria regia* water lily. Upon arrival at Cumaceba Ecolodge, cabins are assigned, and a traditional lunch is served. In the afternoon, we take a jungle walk to explore the flora and fauna, with the chance to feed squirrel monkeys. After dinner, we enjoy a night canoe ride on Shansho Lagoon to spot small caimans. The evening concludes with the sharing of Amazonian myths.

DAY 02: AMAZON FISHING – DOLPHIN SEARCH

We start with a sunrise walk for birdwatching. After breakfast, we enjoy recreational fishing for piranhas and other species. Following a traditional lunch, we set out to search for gray and pink dolphins, concluding with a spectacular Amazon sunset. At night, we take a walk to listen to the sounds of the jungle and spot nocturnal animals such as tarantulas and amphibians.

DAY 03: MONKEY ISLAND – RIVERSIDE VILLAGE

In the morning, we take a canoe ride on Shansho Lagoon to observe birds such as the Hoatzin. After breakfast, we visit Monkey Island, a sanctuary for endangered species like the howler monkey, spider monkey, and squirrel monkey. After lunch, we explore a riverside village to learn about its culture and way of life. The evening includes a canoe ride on the Amazon River accompanied by the sounds of the jungle.

DAY 4: BUTTERFLY FARM – RETURN TO IQUITOS

We will visit a butterfly farm to learn about their life cycle, with a focus on the Morpho species. After lunch at the eco-lodge, we will return to Iquitos, with a transfer to the airport or hotel.
